FILM HISTORY AS A LIST AWARDS 2011 – BEST VISUAL EFFECTS: INCEPTION

Inception completely swept the board taking first place from all four voters. I failed to emotionally connect with Christopher Nolan’s exposition-heavy film but can’t deny the stunning, mind-blowing visuals which were used to help capture an unforgettable visual arena that combined the creative genius of author Roald Dahl and oddball film-maker Terry Gilliam. Most modern visuals have been truly horrible but Inception is a huge step in the right direction.
