FILM HISTORY AS A LIST AWARDS 2011 – NOMINATIONS

by Laurent Kelly

It shows the depth of quality in the films of 2010 that a movie such as Shutter Island which might well have well have topped my 2009 list failed to earn a place in my top five of  the past year. The blockbusters have on the whole been dire but the Oscar contenders have nearly all  proven worthy of their critical acclaim and I have been lucky to see good to great films within every genre.

The following nominations are based on the votes of this year’s board which consists of myself, Brek the David, Daniel Suddes, Paul Laight and Matt Joseph. The actual winners will be revealed this weekend.

For now feel free to scroll through all the categories and discover trailers, clips, screenplays, posters and pieces of music through various links highlighted in the article.
