THE DARK KNIGHT RISES  – SIX VIABLE VILLAINS?

Unless you’ve been living under a rock for the past few years then you’ll be aware that Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight was a fairly big deal –  temporarily becoming the number one film on the IMDB Top 250 and grossing over a billion dollars worldwide to become the seventh highest grossing film of all time.

With The Dark Knight Rises expected to be released in April 2011 fans of the film have been going crazy with speculation over certain characters and crew.

JOHNNY DEPP AND TIM BURTON EMBRACE

 THE DARKNESS FOR AN EIGHTH COLLABORATION

Johnny Depp and Tim Burton first began working together on the set of Ed Wood and now over a decade and a half later they are set to collaborate on their eighth project. Depp will playa vampire searching for his long lost love in a film that is based on the popular sixties gothic soap opera Dark Shadows.

MARY JANE WILL NOT APPEAR IN SPIDERMAN REBOOT

 

The Wrap are reporting that the new Spiderman script has no plans for Mary Jane Watson; the frankly irritating love interest of the masked hero. Kirsten Dunst’s character was given some of the most horrendous lines of dialogue I’ve ever heard in the original films so I can’t say that this is a dissapointment.
